Tuesday Whip!

L_b28b74e5e5545ee595d55047b43d1b7_2

I slowed down a bit in my blogging yesterday because I was stuck on this article: Democrats' Platform for Revolution.

Out of all the reasons why I identify myself as a Conservative, as opposed to a "progressive", really boils down, after all is said and done, to Conservatives tending to be more real, more naturally authentic.  Without exception, all the "progressives" I know are weasley-nosed snoots.  They are the Annointed.

Am I prejudiced?

I hope so.

Whip?

The FPM article on Alinsky bears close and repeated scrutiny.  It outlines a course of manipulation which, if implemented, gives a reason and a means for driving class warfare in America.

Now, it doesn't seem possible, or likely, to me, that Alinksy alone could have pulled off an American Revolution.  But it does seem likely to me that he understood very well the dynamics at play back in the John Lewis labor days: if labor could be pitted against capital, that would buy labor increasingly large chunks of political power.  It's kind of like Revolution in a Can.  Of course, the connection of Crime and Labor is obvious, and damning.

Well, I'm still thinking about it.  I will have more to say on it later.  What's going on in the news?

McCain Finally Joins the Battle!  Go, Johnny Boy!

Hillary shows her true colors in Clinton Steals the Show While Obama Endures Another.  See Hillary rise like a blood-sucking wraith and "exhibit" authority.

A few questions in, Clinton rose from her chair and loomed over Stephanopoulos. The country hasn't seen such a brazen display of attempted middle-aged physical intimidation since Al Gore took a walkabout on the debate stage with George Bush. It was like watching someone get elbowed in a dark alley by their homeroom teacher.

You want this woman to be president, do ya?

Whatever the true import of Obama's relationship with Wright may be, or whatever the proper weight voters should give to his view that poor whites "cling" to guns and religion because they've suffered under bad economic policies, or, for that matter, what Clinton's "sniper fire" story says about her, it strikes me as absurd to argue that these data are meaningless but their stance on a gas-tax holiday is of enduring importance.

For the Ever-Populist Hillary, oil countries and the oil-producing nations are one and the same.

Without it the Junior Senator from Illinois would be just a skinnier Bill Clinton.

Wright nursed Obama intellectually and spiritually over the years. It is Obama himself who has given us this man, and assured us of his integrity and reliability.

The Mystery of Political Charisma

The word charisma is a vague synonym for "personal magnetism." People vary in their ability to attract others, and their attraction depends in part on inherent traits, in part on learned skills, and in part on social context.
